As part of Work Package 7, activities were carried out to disseminate and promote the project; these are:
- Participation in the A&R Expo Automation & Robotics Exhibition (https://ar-expo.gr/). Members of the project’s research team participated in a panel discussion on the exhibition’s main presentation stage, where they highlighted the project’s results.
- Participation of Professor Fotis N. Koumboulis in the “KALAMATA TECH EXPO & INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS FESTIVAL”, where he delivered a presentation focused on the results of the project’s activities titled “Software Sensors in Water Distribution Networks”.
- The software developed as part of the project’s activities has been uploaded and is available on the GitHub open-access repository (DeSw).
- RCCL, in collaboration with AKATT S.A., co-organized the 1st International Conference on Monitoring and Control of Water Systems (MoCWS2026), which took place in Chalkida on May 28 and 29, 2026.
- As part of the project, a Stakeholder Network was established, which serves as an extremely effective and crucial means of disseminating, utilization, and institutional consolidation of the project’s results, as it transfers the scientific knowledge generated from the level of research and development to the realm of organized collaboration with business, research, and academic institutions.
- This was further strengthened by the launch of the “Association of Monitoring and Control of Water Systems,” which was unanimously approved by the conference participants, with N. D. Kouvakas elected as acting President and F. N. Koumboulis and K. Katsiavrias joining the steering committee to oversee the necessary steps for the official establishment of the organization.
