M. G. Skarpetis is with the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he is Associate Professor of Automatic Control – Hydraulic and Pneumatic Automatic Control Systems. He has served as Head of the Division of Automatic Control of the Department of Automation. He has published over 100 research papers in journals, conferences and edited books. His current research interests include robust control, automatic flight control, vehicle control, control of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and control algorithms. He received the 2002/03 Coaless Award. He is included in the Node of Academic and Scientific Excellence of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
