N. D. Kouvakas is with the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he is Associate Professor of Automatic Control in Motion and Navigation Systems. He serves as Deputy Director of the Post Graduate Program “Advanced Control Systems and Robotics” and he is member of the Robotics, Automatic Control and Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory. He has published over 100 research papers in journals, conferences and edited books. His current interests include process modeling, distributed control, control of robotic systems, control of switching systems, control of networked systems, cyberphysical systems, motor control, vehicular control and supervisory control systems. He received the 2024 Best Paper award (Springer Int. Conf. on Frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and Multidisciplinary Applications).
