K. G. Tzierakis is with the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he is Assistant Professor of  Automatic Control in Motion and Navigation Systems. He holds a Diploma (integrated MSc) in Electrical Engineering and a PhD Degree in Automatic Control from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He has published many scholarly articles in journals, conferences and edited books. His current research interests include automatic control of large scale systems, motion control, control of robotic systems and control of distributed processes.
