D. G. Fragkoulis is with the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he is Assistant Professor of Modelling, Control and Fault Diagnosis in Production Processes. He holds a bachelor's degree in Automation from Technological Institute of Piraeus, an MSc degree in Automatic Control, Informatics and Decision Support Systems and a PhD Degree in Automatic Control from University of Toulouse III (Paul Sabatier), France.  He has published over 50 research papers in journals and conferences.  His current research interests include fault diagnosis, supervisor control, industrial control and process modeling. He received the "2023 Olympiad Medal" (International Olympiad Committee in Engineering Science).
